VISION

 

The future vision of TYLBF is to open a centralized Community Empowerment Center for victims and survivors who have been emotionally damaged and often dependent on their abusers, that desires to gain back confidence

by setting their own pace, and make their own decisions .

 

The empowerment center will also be a place that emphasizes RESPECT for the victims, equips them for further rehabilitation, and provides them with a sense of control over their lives while also equipping the victims with tools to break the cycle of domestic violence through supportive intervention.

 

Restoring power to victims through validation, community and celebration of their strengths is very important to us. We will strive to return a sense of personal self –worth and support the victim’s process as they move forward and Take Control of their own Life.
